The SASO certification process for LED lighting involves several steps, all of which Yakeen Lighting handles for you:
- Step 1: Product testing in a SASO-accredited laboratory to SASO 2902 standards
- Step 2: SABER platform registration — create account, upload test reports and technical files
- Step 3: Obtain Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for each product category
- Step 4: Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) issued per shipment for customs clearance
- Step 5: Ongoing compliance — products must maintain certification and renew before expiry
